Brian loves science fiction, so naturally, he writes about vampires and werewolves.
Fortunately, he’s an avid fan of fantasy as well. He enjoys seeing different takes on vampires, but wonders why they can always fly.
When he was younger, Brian wanted to write comic books. Now he just reads them. His favorite series is Invincible by Robert Kirkman and Planetary by Warren Ellis. Brian’s favorite author is Peter F. Hamilton, who writes amazing sci-fi. Some of Brian’s favorite fantasies are The Wheel of Time, The Lord of the Rings, The Gentleman Bastards, and the Harry Potter and Harry Dresden series.
When it comes to vampires and werewolves, Brian has read some Anne Rice (his favorite being The Queen of the Damned), seen all the Twilight movies (sadly), and is a big fan of the Vampire Diaries. His favorite vampire movie is The Lost Boys. He also liked Underworld very much.
Brian attended Old Dominion University, where he first discovered Magic the Gathering. He loves trading card games, and over the years has played more than twenty different ones.
Most of them were bad.
Brian has worked as a paper boy (and still has nightmares about it), pizza delivery driver, comic book store clerk, and fiber optics technician. He currently works at a library as a technical operations specialist (he has no idea what that means).
Brian lives in Virginia, but spends most of his time in Fantasy Land.
